Part of the Butterflies Collection, Minerva honors the legacy of Patria, Minerva, and María Teresa Mirabal—three Dominican sisters who were brutally murdered in 1960 for standing up to Trujillo's dictatorship. Their resistance and bravery inspired the UN to declare November 25 the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
Designed by Numa Torres with artwork by Inma Medina, Minerva blends culture, history, and identity. Crafted by Numa by Spanians, each sandal symbolizes strength, transformation, and sisterhood through the powerful symbol of the butterfly.
