NUMAS'S CARE RECOMMENDATIONS

Avarcas are a type of traditional footwear from Menorca, Spain, which are generally made of leather and rubber soles. To keep your Numas sandals in good condition and prolong their useful life, here are some cleaning and maintenance recommendations:

Regular cleaning: After each use, clean your sandals with a soft cloth or brush to remove dust and dirt. If your sandals have stains, clean them with a damp cloth and a little mild soap or mild detergent diluted in water. Then air dry them.

Protection against water: The sandals are not waterproof, so it is important to prevent them from getting too wet. If they get wet, let them air dry at room temperature and do not expose them to direct heat such as the sun or radiators, as heat can deform the leather.

Proper storage: Store your sandals in a cool, dry place to avoid moisture and mold. Do not leave them in a location exposed to direct sunlight, as this may fade the color of the leather.

Avoid contact with harmful substances: Avoid letting your sandals come into contact with aggressive chemicals, such as solvents, chlorine, perfumes or any substance that could damage the leather.

Leather care: To keep the leather soft and supple, you can occasionally apply a leather conditioner. Follow the product instructions and perform a test on a small inconspicuous area before applying it to the entire Avarca.

Rubber sole: The rubber sole of Avarcas is generally durable; you can clean the soles with a damp cloth with soap and water.

Usage rotation: If you have several pairs of sandals, it is advisable to rotate their use. This will allow each pair to rest between uses and extend their life.

If you have questions about the maintenance or cleaning of any particular leather, do not hesitate to contact us to info@numabyspanians.com.

By following these cleaning and maintenance recommendations, your sandals should stay in good condition and look good for a long time.
